Zachary's 4th grade class studied aquatic frogs for a week and then the students were allowed to adopt them. We let Zachary adopt one, but since there were extra frogs they let Zachary bring two frogs home. Savannah wanted to get a fish in the spring. Since she didn't get the fish, Zachary was nice enough to give Savannah a frog. We have a boy and a girl. Zachary gets the boy and Savannah the girl. The girl is lighter colored. They are having fun watching them. We shall see how long they live.

Super Cool! Savannah had "toad" me about these frogs in an email. I had a frog once, it was pretty cool to watch. It died when my roommate moved the tank and didn't realize it needed the teeny oxygen ball at the bottom. So tragically, my frog drown due to exhaustion from swimming to the top. FYI, if this breed need the oxygen ball, VERY TEMPERMENTAL (pinches easily). Now that I put that fear into ya, good luck!
I think that should be my next pet! Rusty might be tempted to eat them though!
