Zachary's team made it to the championship game. It started at 6:30 and went until 10:30. It was a long game with frequent stops because the umpires were terrible. The pic on the right is Zachary playing left field. He doesn't like to play outfield, but he was one of the young ones.This next picture is the coach talking to the kids after the game. Letting them know what a great team they are and what a great bunch of boys they are and that he is proud of them.
Then it was awards time. Zachary and his team got trophies and 2nd place medals. They lost 10-12.
Here are the Yankees after their final game. Relieved to have that long, contested, heated, emotional game over with. I hate that Kyle missed it. He was on a Youth trek. Zachary caught his first pop fly during this game. I know Zachary has his eyes closed in the final picture of him with his trophy. It was a long night, and after a few tries, this one is the best I was going to get.
